Mother’s Day is around the corner and here’s a perfectly cool DIY card where you can express your thoughts by writing down your fondest memories or special dedications on hearts that can be revealed one by one. This card will make a good sentimental keepsake for years to come.

Step 1: Fold a coloured paper into 3 halves. Draw and cut out your desired size of heart shapes. Cut a strip of paper that fits the heart shape.

Step 2: Measure a cut out heart shape and draw a line on the strip of paper

Step 3: Draw multiple lines 1 centimetre apart depending on how many heart shapes you want to put and fold according to the lines on the strip of paper.

Step 4: Glue the top bit of the hearts and stick it on the drawn lines.

Step 5: Fold an A4 size paper in half as a card

Step 7: Cut another strip of paper according to the width of the card. Glue the sides of the horizontal strip to the card.

Step 8: Glue the bottom part of the paper strip that contains the heart shapes onto the middle of the other paper strip you just cut and tuck the ends of the paper underneath the horizontal strip.

Expand your creativity or imagination by using different shapes or colours. You can even use butterflies, flowers, or cut out the alphabets that spell "I-L-O-V-E-Y-O-U" . Share with us your creativity in the comment section below.
