Book Review with StorySmith Belinda Chee: See The Stripes by Andy Mansfield
This week's featured book on our StorySmith book review is See The Stripes and we got Belinda Chee to review this beautifully illustrated number.
What Belinda thinks...
This is the first time my children and I have seen a book like this. Very colourful, interesting and challenging. Like a rubik's cube in book form! There are pages that are 3D, some pages you'd have to fold the stripes like an origami to get to the answers and up till now, I still can't find a lot of the stripes! It really puts your problem solving skills and IQ to the test!

What is StorySmiths?
We’ve learnt that many parents out there enjoy what reading or books can offer their family. But over time, picking the right book is a struggle or they may feel that their family’s storytelling experience can be better but don’t know how. StorySmiths will help bridge the gap based on their own experience or speciality with one single aim - to help Malaysian parents with their storytelling journey.
We selected a group of parents, educators and professionals who are children’s books aficionados, storytellers or just people who have a passion in bringing out the best in children and wanting the best for their well-being to review books in our Me Books Collection.
A mother of two beautiful children, Belinda Chee is a born and bred Sarawakian, who was a competitive swimmer representing Sarawak and Malaysia back in the day and has progressively moved to become a sought after emcee and host for various TV shows such as “8TV Quickie” and “Bella”, an award winning women’s talk show. Nowadays when she’s not at work on TV or radio, she loves to read together with her kids a bedtime story or two, or three.
